Terms of Use
Using PotatoPlayer
These terms explain the basic rules for using PotatoPlayer, its browser games, optional accounts, cloud saves, possible future advertising, sponsor links, and supporter subscriptions.
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Use of the site
You may use PotatoPlayer for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Please do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to break its games or hosting, bypass access rules, abuse account systems, or use automated tools in a way that creates excessive load.
For multiplayer games, please do not cheat, exploit bugs, disrupt servers, interfere with other players, attempt unauthorized access, manipulate gameplay traffic, or use automation to gain an unfair advantage. PotatoPlayer multiplayer games do not include player chat at this time.
Optional accounts
Accounts are optional, but some features may require signing in. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If you are 13 or older but under the age of majority where you live, use PotatoPlayer with permission from a parent or guardian.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password private and for using an email address you can access for verification, account recovery, billing notices, and important account messages.
PotatoPlayer may disable accounts that misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass supporter-only access, or create security or abuse concerns. You may delete your account from the account page; deletion signs you out, clears active sessions, and anonymizes the account record as described in the Privacy Policy. If active Stripe billing is attached to your account, you may need to cancel the supporter subscription through the billing portal before account deletion can be completed.
Cloud saves
Some games may support cloud saves for signed-in accounts. Cloud saves are provided as a convenience and may include progress, settings, scores, timestamps, and game-state data. PotatoPlayer aims to keep saves available, but it does not guarantee that save data will never be lost, reset, or changed by bugs, game updates, account deletion, or site maintenance.
Supporter subscriptions
PotatoPlayer may offer an optional paid supporter subscription. Supporter perks may include ad-free play while signed in, early access games, voting or feedback features, and other extras shown on the site. Supporter features may change over time as the site grows.
Prices, billing frequency, renewal terms, and available perks should be shown before checkout. By starting a supporter subscription, you authorize recurring charges through Stripe until the subscription is cancelled or otherwise ends. Stripe may process supporter subscriptions through Stripe Managed Payments where available, including acting as the merchant or seller of record, handling tax calculation or collection, sending receipts, helping manage fraud and disputes, and providing transaction-level payment support. PotatoPlayer controls account access, game access, and supporter perks. Taxes may be added where required.
You can manage or cancel Stripe-backed supporter billing through the account page or Stripe billing portal when available. If you cancel a subscription, supporter access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period unless the checkout or billing portal states otherwise.
Refunds
Supporter subscriptions are primarily used to support the site and unlock account perks. Unless required by law or specifically stated otherwise, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins. If something goes wrong with billing or access, contact PotatoPlayer at support@potatoplayer.com so the issue can be reviewed.
Games are provided as-is
PotatoPlayer games are provided as-is and may contain bugs, balance issues, temporary outages, or unfinished features. The site may change, remove, rename, rebalance, restrict, or update games at any time, including early access games.
Advertising and sponsors
PotatoPlayer does not currently load third-party ads on game pages, but some game pages may include third-party ads in the future, and the homepage may include sponsor links. Ads and sponsor links help support the site, but external websites and ad providers are responsible for their own content, policies, and services. Supporter accounts are intended to receive ad-free play while signed in and while the supporter entitlement is active.
External links
PotatoPlayer may link to external websites, including sponsor websites and Stripe billing pages. Clicking those links takes you away from PotatoPlayer. Those websites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
No guarantees
PotatoPlayer aims to keep games lightweight and easy to access, but it does not guarantee that every game, account feature, cloud save, ad-free entitlement, or supporter feature will work on every browser, device, network, or hardware setup.
Changes to these terms
These Terms of Use may be updated as the site changes. The date above will be updated when meaningful changes are made. Continued use of PotatoPlayer after changes means you accept the updated terms.
